Business Analyst

Position: Business Analyst

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Business Analyst who can bridge business requirements, product strategy, data and technology. The role will work closely with enterprise customers, internal product teams, UI/UX, developers, QA, BI, Data Science and AI/ML teams to translate business problems into scalable digital products and workflows. The candidate will contribute to building an integrated ecosystem capable of helping organizations through CHRP-INDIA’s products for shaping their workforce through learning, competency management, skills intelligence, analytics and data-driven recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct requirement-gathering workshops with customers, users and internal stakeholders.
2. Understand existing customer processes and identify opportunities for digitization, automation and process improvement.
3. Prepare BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, use cases, process flows and acceptance criteria.
4. Translate business requirements into functional requirements for engineering teams.
5. Create AS-IS and TO-BE process maps.
6. Define workflows, roles, permissions, approval hierarchies and business rules.
7. Work on varied enterprise grade digital products and modules.
8. Define business KPIs, metrics and dashboard requirements.
9. Work with BI and Data Science teams to define actionable workforce insights.
10. Identify data required across different systems and modules.
11. Support API and third-party integration requirement documentation.
12. Work with UI/UX teams on wireframes and user journeys.
13. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, UAT and release validation.
14. Maintain requirements traceability from business requirement through development and testing.
15. Conduct gap analysis against customer business operations and processes.
16. Help convert customer-specific requirements into reusable product capabilities rather than one-off customizations.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of Business Analysis/Product Analysis experience.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS or business applications.
• Strong understanding of requirements engineering.
• BPMN/process mapping experience.
• Understanding of databases and relational data structures.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Understanding of APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Domain Knowledge

Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

HRTech, HRIS, ATS, LMS/LXP, Talent Management, Skill Management, Competency Management, Workforce Planning, Learning & Development, ERP, Business Intelligence or Enterprise Workflow Platforms.
