Role Purpose
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager – Recruitment & Operations to lead end-to-end recruitment activities while managing key HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, compliance, and administrative functions. The role requires strong stakeholder management, process ownership, and the ability to align HR practices with business and workforce requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from manpower planning and sourcing to onboarding and induction. Understand business requirements and prepare/update Job Descriptions in coordination with hiring managers. Develop effective sourcing strategies through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, consultants, and other channels. Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, assessments, technical rounds, and management discussions. Manage offer negotiations, offer releases, joining formalities, and follow-ups. Track recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, source effectiveness, offer-to-joining ratio, and hiring status. Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future requirements. Coordinate with business heads and reporting managers to ensure timely closure of critical positions.
- HR Operations Manage the complete employee lifecycle including joining, onboarding, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, resignations, full & final settlement, and exit formalities. Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel documentation. Manage attendance, leave, timesheets, employee queries, and HR-related requests. Coordinate payroll inputs, salary changes, deductions, reimbursements, and employee-related payroll requirements. Monitor employee compliance with organizational policies and HR processes. Manage employee communication and ensure timely dissemination of HR policies, notices, and updates.
- Employee Relations Act as a point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters. Address employee grievances and workplace concerns professionally and confidentially. Support managers in handling performance, attendance, discipline, and employee-related issues. Conduct employee engagement initiatives and support a positive workplace culture. Facilitate effective communication between employees, management, and functional teams.
- HR Policies & Process Development Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and workflows. Identify process gaps and introduce systems to improve HR efficiency and compliance. Support the implementation and optimization of HRIS, ATS, attendance, payroll, and employee management systems. Establish standardized HR processes and documentation across departments. Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and management reports related to manpower, recruitment, attrition, attendance, and other HR metrics.
- Compliance & Administration Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies. Maintain employee documentation and statutory records. Coordinate with external consultants, vendors, insurance providers, and other HR service providers. Oversee HR administration, office support activities, vendor coordination, and employee facilities as required. Support audits and ensure timely closure of HR and administrative compliance requirements.
- Management Reporting & Strategic HR Support Prepare periodic HR reports and dashboards for management review. Analyze recruitment, attrition, employee strength, attendance, and workforce trends. Provide management with insights on manpower requirements and HR operational issues. Support annual manpower planning, budgeting, appraisal processes, and organizational development initiatives. Work closely with senior management to align HR processes with business objectives. Required Skills & Competencies Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment and HR operations. Excellent stakeholder and employee relationship management skills. Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and documentation. Good understanding of payroll, attendance, leave, and statutory compliance. Experience in handling multiple departments and diverse hiring requirements. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Good analytical and reporting capabilities. Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS/ATS platforms. Ability to manage confidential employee information with discretion. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Qualification
Education: MBA / PGDM / Master's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
Experience: 5–8 years of progressive experience in HR, with strong exposure to Recruitment, HR Operations, Employee Relations, and HR Process Management.
